The July Retreat: West Sussex, UK

Location: The PIG in the South Downs
Dates: 4 to 5 July 2026
Price: From £1,250 per couple
For those expecting between September & January.

Prepare for birth together.

Set in the countryside in West Sussex, the July Retreat is a luxury two-day hypnobirthing and birth preparation retreat designed to help parents-to-be feel calm, informed, and confident ahead of birth.

With a small group of parents-to-be attending, the retreat is intentionally personal, creating space to learn, connect, and prepare alongside one another.

Across the weekend, you’ll be guided through a comprehensive hypnobirthing and antenatal education course delivered through four thoughtfully designed workshops.

You’ll leave knowing:

❋ how to work with your body during labour
❋ how to reduce fear and anxiety around birth
❋ your options and decision-making during labour
❋ practical tools for a calmer birth experience
❋ the important role of the birth partner
❋ how to approach birth as a team

"We recently attended a weekend with Hatch Retreats and honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. We had already attended our local antenatal class which gave us a baseline understanding, but Hatch Retreats took everything to a completely different level in terms of depth, confidence and mindset."

“Birth education is so often overlooked. I truly believe every parent should invest in understanding what’s happening physically and emotionally in the body during birth. It can completely change how you experience birth, however it unfolds.”
