These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in services offered by Hatch Retreats ("we", "us", or "our"), including retreats, workshops, online programs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By registering for or participating in any Hatch Retreats program, you agree to these Terms.

1. Retreat Participation

Hatch Retreats provides educational and supportive experiences designed to help expectant parents prepare for birth and early parenthood.

Our retreats and programs are designed to complement, not replace, professional medical care. Participants are responsible for consulting with their healthcare providers regarding any medical or pregnancy-related questions.

Participation in any Hatch Retreats program is voluntary.

2. Booking and Registration

To participate in a Hatch Retreat, you may be required to complete a registration form and provide certain personal information.By registering for a retreat, you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and complete

  • you are at least 18 years of age

  • you understand the nature of the retreat experience

Your place in a retreat is only confirmed once payment has been received.

3. Payment

Retreat fees must be paid according to the payment terms communicated at the time of booking.

Payments may be processed through secure third-party providers such as Stripe.

Prices may be listed in a specific currency and may be subject to applicable taxes where required.

Hatch Retreats reserves the right to update pricing at any time prior to booking confirmation.

4. Cancellation Policy

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Unexpected circumstances can arise, including personal injury, illness, family emergencies, changes of circumstances etc. Hatch Retreats is not responsible for these situations, and adequate insurance is essential.

  • Cancellations made more than 40 days prior to the retreat start date are eligible for a full refund of payments made.

  • Cancellations made within 40 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to another participant. All transfers are subject to prior approval by Hatch Retreats and must be arranged in advance.

5. Changes or Cancellation by Hatch Retreats

In rare circumstances, Hatch Retreats may need to cancel or reschedule a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances such as venue issues, facilitator availability, or safety considerations.

If a retreat is cancelled by Hatch Retreats, participants will be offered either:

  • a full refund, or

  • the option to transfer their booking to a future retreat.

Hatch Retreats is not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants such as travel or accommodation arrangements.

6. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring that participation in a retreat is appropriate for their personal circumstances.

By attending a retreat, participants acknowledge that:

  • they are responsible for their own health and wellbeing

  • they will follow any safety guidance provided during the retreat

  • they will inform organizers of any relevant health considerations

Participants should consult their healthcare provider before attending any retreat during pregnancy.

7. Medical Disclaimer

Hatch Retreats provides educational content related to birth preparation and wellbeing.

We do not provide medical care, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Information shared during retreats is intended for educational purposes only and should not replace professional medical guidance from qualified healthcare providers.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hatch Retreats shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur in connection with participation in our retreats or Services.

Participants accept responsibility for their own decisions and actions during the retreat experience.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during Hatch Retreats programs, including educational materials, guides, and digital resources, are the intellectual property of Hatch Retreats.

These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior written permission.

10. Photography and Media

From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during retreats for promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to appear in photos or media, please inform us.

11. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

Hatch Retreats may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply from the date published.
